My first multi-pitch climb (and also my first non-toprope): Bright Eyes at El Cajon Mountain
My first multi-pitch was Brighteyes a 5.7 climb. I tell you, after hiking that far with all that gear on, my legs were glad that it was only a 5.7!

Indoor Rock Climbing Clothes?

I did look this up already but I had another question that I can't find....
First off...is it cool to wear jeans? Or atleast comfortable jeans (Loose, bigish)....big t-shirt, or is that a no no?
Ok, I've always wondered if wearing converse to rock climbing is a bad idea? My friend says they don't have enough grip, yet in only one case online did I find a guy that says he always uses converse in outdoor rock climbing. Of course I'm

This is my 5 year old son climbing in the 2009 Dixie Rock Climbing Competition. His coach just went through open heart surgery and was unable to attend the competition. This video is dedicated to coach Jason for all of the hard work he has put into teaching his team how to climb. Thanks coach Jason and we all hope you recover quickly.

What's a good gift for my child's rock climbing instructors? They're college students working in the outdoor adventure department of the university (so they're into a variety of outdoor sports, not just climbing). I would like to become qualified to become a rock climbing instructor, but I know I need to complete climbing courses first. Currently, I only have NICAS level two, but would like to complete more. Can anyone provide me with information and links to places I can complete these courses?
I should probably mention that I'm in the UK...
